Just like when we were kids and played with walkie-talkies, there are cell phones that work the same way.  This is not a new feature of course, as Nextel has offered this type of phone for years.  It worked well in large factories where a quick call was needed.  But these phones were large and ugly but as time passed and phones were updated, this feature was integrated into other phones.

Mobile phone deals are everywhere now.  With the economy the way it is, everyone looking to start a service or renew theirs will be happy so see a nice deal coming their way.    Just keep an eye on all the added fees that the sales people throw at you so quickly.

When you get your first statement in the mail, that is when you see all the other fees that are added: state taxes, 911 connection fee, local taxes and some of them you don’t even understand.   And if your deal involved a rebate, be sure to fill that our right away and get it in the mail.  The longer it stays in your purse or wallet, the easier it will be for you to forget it.  Then that deal you thought was so great, actually is not.
