Usually the problem companies have with their cell phone collection is the phone becoming outdated and in need of an upgrade. And the cell phone companies cater to this easily, as they want to keep the companies with them. But when it’s time to do the opposite, to switch the cell phone provider but keep the phones themselves, it gets a little harder.

The solution to the problem? SIM only deals. Yes, it’s possible to contact a cell phone company and tell them that you only need the SIM cards. In fact, you can work that out to your advantage. Make sure that you talk to someone important directly, as the normal deals aren’t as good as you will get if you negotiate directly. Make sure you leverage the money they’ll save in not having to provide you with phones into a better call and data package.
